St. Paul's Place, Birmingham
Project Value £20m / Package Value £1m
When it comes to environment, Saint Paul’s Place brings something new. The Thomas Walker building, as it is known, is one of the most historic and recognised in the City. It is certainly a statement building, and has an equivocal right to be, as it almost entirely covers one block facing the square.
Two unique spaces have been created - one residential, with around 168 beautiful studio, one and two bedroom apartments the other an exciting and complementary commercial element.
Each has its own core and central feature. Each is built around its own courtyard. Yet each is designed to be a foil to the other rather than an uncomfortable amalgam of two diverse elements.
